So I'm helping a dear friend of mine DIY her wedding. I absolutely adore making and crafting things so when she asked me to make her paper rose bouquet I squealed with delight.
The bouquet will be made out of pages from the Bible and beautiful crimson scrapbook paper. I got the idea here
So far, I'm only two roses in. They are surprisingly time consuming! But as I was creasing the seemingly endless amounts of paper petals, I was struck by the creativeness of God.
It's crazy, God creates millions of flowers so meticulously. He is concerned with each and every petal. He has breathed life into each wildflower and rose.
And yet we know that even though God loves creating beautiful things for us to enjoy, He loves us even more!
"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet, I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you of little faith?" Matthew 6:28-30The detail oriented God, who curls each petal of every rose, who plants each lily in a field of grass cares deeply about you. He numbered the hairs on your head and his thoughts about you are more plentiful than the grains of sand on a sea shore!
Enjoy the God who made and loves you today sweet friends!

ReplyDeleteThanks Jen! I always seem to forget that He cares about our tiniest requests. As if asking for something little would bother him or something. But He just wants us, even the seemingly insignificant stuff! I'll be praying for your little ones to get better!
